PSP is a VERY
powerful graphics program. I have
found that you are always learning
about new techniques and how to utilize
the tools in the most effective way.
It is my goal to help teach you about
the different tools and how to achieve
different effects, using primarily
PSP. I have now written well over
100 tutorials, created brushes and
tiles. I am in the process of creating
tubes and I answer an average of
20-25 e-mails a day requesting help.
All of this takes an enormous amount
of time.
I enjoy doing
for others and people seem to like
what I have here. I am hoping that
at least some of you will donate
what they feel my work and time is
worth to them. Just click on the

MY THOUGHTS ON MY
TUTORIALS AND MY TERMS BELOW
There are so many new
people learning PSP7 who have countless questions ~~ I have
written this tutorial just for them. Actually, it wouldn't hurt
for everyone to take a peek at this tutorial *winks*. To view
the Beginners Guide click HERE.

tutorials learning some of your favorite plugins; Sinedots,
Silver and Ulead
I also enjoy exploring
the different plugins that are available
to us. I try to do my tutorials using
the free plugins but occasionally
I will be doing tutorials using filters
that do cost money, such as Eye Candy
4000, Super Blade Pro and Filters
Unlimited. Most are aware of EC and
SBP but Filters Unlimited was a new
one on me and the possibilities of
this Filter are unbelievable. For
a cost of $39.00 you can have this
filter in your plugins and import
several of your other filters including,
but not limited to, all of the Filter
Factory Gallery's. I have discovered,
though, that some of the results
you get from using Filters Unlimited
can be different from the Plugin
itself outside of Filters Unlimited.
This definitely cleaned up the clutter
in my Plug-in Folder.
If there is a particular plugin that you would like to learn
more about or see a tutorial on please let me know and I will
do my best.
Thank you for your loyalty and continued
support.
My Thoughts On My
Tutorials and my Terms

Recently, I have been asked many questions
regarding my tutorials. I hope to answer your concerns here.
CURRENT WEB CIVICS
Due to tutorial thefts and tutorials being copied and pasted
into AOL E-mail Groups, many tutorial writers have either taken
their sites down, password protected the tutorials, or encrypted
them so that you cannot even print them or save the tutorial
for working off-line. You will not find that happening at Moon's
Designs.
WHY I WRITE TUTORIALS
I write my tutorials to help others learn different techniques
and filters when using PSP. Many of my users are on dial-up
connections. Many are overseas and pay for their online time.
I cannot justify encrypting my tutorials. If my users can't
print them or view them off-line, then they won't be doing my
tutorials nor learning from them. If they can't do them and
learn from them, why bother to write them?
Many tutorial writers have in their terms that
the creations they make from doing the tutorial are for personal,
non-profit use. These same tutorial writers claim copyright
to the very image they are trying to teach you to make ~~ such
as a Teddy Bear. Again, I cannot justify this attitude. It is
you who add the decorations and final touches to the end creation.
It is yours to do with as you please. If you can make some money
after learning something I have taught you, then more power
to you. How can anyone claim copyright to a teddy bear? He has
been around for 100 years! I don't claim copyright to any of
my images in my tutorials. What I do claim copyright on is the
tutorial itself ~~ the words that I use and the way I explain
things.
WHAT I ASK FROM YOU
I ask that my tutorials not be copied and pasted into e-mail.
The reasoning is quite simple. Even though the groups have no
forwarding of emails in their rules, the emails DO get forwarded.
Eventually the copyright information and who the original tut
writer is gets removed. The tutorial then gets put up on a website
because they don't know if it is available elsewhere and you
don't have the opportunity to try my other tutorials.
I ask that Yahoo Groups e-mail me when they
are going to be using my tutorial in their group. This is common
courtesy.
Someone recently asked me if I would put my
tutorials on CD so they would have them available all in one
place. I am considering doing this, BUT this would only be done
as a convenience for those who would like my tutorials on a
CD. My tutorials would still remain online for free.
MY
PROMISE TO YOU
The long and short of it is
that Tutorials by Moon's Designs
will always be available online.
My tutorials will not be encrypted
or put in an .exe file. My tutorials
will be available for you to
save to your hard drive for
off-line use. My tutorials will
be available to you for printing.
What you create from learning
while doing my tutorials is
yours to do with as you please.
You do not have to press an
"I Agree" button to
get to my tutorials. Now, let's
go do some tutorials! Thank
you for listening ~~ Patti.
